# Everyday Size Compare > Overlay measured objects at the same scale and export a dimensioned sketch. Compare measured objects in front, side or top view, with unit conversion, a shared scale, overlays and relative dimensions. Part of usefulweb.app (https://usefulweb.app/). Part of [Hearth](https://hearth.usefulweb.app/) (ownerApp: hearth). Results are deterministic calculations from the inputs and the listed assumptions; the API returns exactly what the web page shows. ## Use it - Human interface: https://hearthsizecompare.usefulweb.app/ (interactive tool at https://hearthsizecompare.usefulweb.app/tool) - JSON API: POST https://hearthsizecompare.usefulweb.app/api/v1/calculate with a JSON object of inputs (schema: https://hearthsizecompare.usefulweb.app/api/v1/tool) - OpenAPI: https://hearthsizecompare.usefulweb.app/openapi.json - MCP (Streamable HTTP): https://hearthsizecompare.usefulweb.app/mcp - tool `hearth_size_compare` ## Inputs - objects (table): Objects - view (select): View - layout (select): Layout - unit (select): Input unit ## Method - Input dimensions are converted to millimetres. Front, side and top rectangles share a common scale and baseline; ratios compare against the first object. - Volumes use rectangular bounding boxes. This tool does not assess three-dimensional transport paths or complex fit.
